English ten shillings of 1915 overprinted '60 silver piastres' for use by ANZACS at Gallipoli

After studying architecture at university, John Pettit turned his hobby into a business in 1987, establishing John Pettit Rare Banknotes.

Specialising in rare Australian and British colonial material, he maintains a Sydney city office with three full-time staff members, with whom he attends numerous local and overseas trade fairs. A growing part of his business is catering for personal superannuation funds.
