Judith Rutherford has been involved with Chinese textiles for 20 years, first as a collector then as a specialist dealer in Chinese textiles, costume, rank badges and dress accessories from the 18th to 20th century.

She has lectured, written and contributed to and co-authored many journals and catalogues both in Australia and internationally. She exhibits in New York at the Arts of Pacific Asia Show each year.
