Michael started dealing in the UK in 1978 at his premises in Camden Passage and Portobello Road. In 1980 he left for Australia to set up business in the Woollahra Galleries. He and his wife Victoria have been working together ever since they were married in 1988.

Michael and Victoria deal in antique jewellery, silver, glass, porcelain, vintage fountain pens, collector's items, with small pieces of furniture. The Greenes also provide valuations and service repairs.
