Starting in her mother's shop in Manly in 1974, Lyn began her own business in Leichhardt in 1979 and later also in the Sydney Antique Centre.

Dealing in ceramics, glass, silver, and some Victorian and Edwardian furniture, Lyn's abiding passion is jewellery, especially from the 19th and 20th century. Since 1994 she has been a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia and is an active member of the AAADA.
