Gala Preview
Each year the AAADA Sydney Fair opens ahead of time with a Gala Preview on the Wednesday evening.
Serious collectors join the social set in a glittering night of sights and sales.
The AAADA Fair Gala Preview evening has become a fixture on Sydney's social calendar but patrons
should note that the 2008 fair is later than has been the tradition. Instead of the usual late August start,
the fair begins on September 17 from 6pm. Tickets are available at the door.

Walking Tours
Another AAADA Fair tradition continues with the guided walking tours on the hour throughout the day on the
Thursday and Friday of the fair. AAADA members, all specialist experts, give insiders' insights to help
buyers navigate their way through silver, glass, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, paintings, sculpture, furniture, Australiana and exotica.
The Furniture History Society
Every year Australia's leading authority on all things furniture takes a stand at the AAADA Sydney Fair.
Members are on hand to advise visitors and buyers about the finer details of timbers and techniques.
