"Plymouth Market" oil on canvas by Nicholas Condy dated 1836. Nicholas Condy was born in 1799 in Torpoint Cornwall, dying in 1857. He served in the Peninsular War between 1811 & 1818. From 1818 he studied art and became a professional painter based in Plymouth. He exhibited between 1830 & 1845 at the Royal Academy, the British Institute and the Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street. An unusual French acacia wood commode c1750. Acacia farnesianais was introduced to Southern France from the French colonies in the Caribbean for use in the perfume industry. The wood is extremely durable and has great natural colour. Dimensions: 142 cm x 70 cm x 91 cm

A Muller Frères cameo bowl in amber and brown c1910. Cameo signature "Muller Fres Luneville", in perfect condition The Muller nine brothers and one sister set up their own workshop in 1895 after the eldest two had trained with Gallé. The Mullers constantly experimented with decorative techniques. Expert carvers, they would use the wheel to obtain the subtlest effects. The company ceased production of decorative glass in 1914 at the outbreak of the first World War, but continued making commercial lightfittings until 1933. Dimensions: 13 cm x 12 cm x 7 cm
