 Click on photo to enlarge | Circa: 1836 Price: $12,985 "Plymouth Market" oil on canvas by Nicholas Condy dated 1836. Nicholas Condy was born in 1799 in Torpoint Cornwall, dying in 1857. He served in the Peninsular War between 1811 & 1818. From 1818 he studied art and became a professional painter based in Plymouth. He exhibited between 1830 & 1845 at the Royal Academy, the British Institute and the Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street.
